What is Imago Relationship Therapy?
This approach to therapy is uniquely focused on personal growth through committed relationships. As human beings, we are relational by nature. Our personalities are developed through intense experiences with other human beings, the first of whom are our primary caretakers. In varying degrees, we are wounded during the first years of childhood. Couples are guided in changing ineffective methods of communication and relating, so that through the committed relationship, they are able to achieve their inherent desire for connection and wholeness.
